Great News!

Many bankers have asked us over the past several months about the possibility of our firms developing a loan and deposit forms software platform automation system that would provide them with the flexibility and service they need.

BancPartner Group and BankOnIT have joined forces to market and securely host a new loan and deposit forms software platform automation system.

As part of this project, Charles Cheatham, Vice President/General Counsel for the past 12 years at the Oklahoma Bankers Association, will be joining Robert Mendez and Ryan Samples to provide his experience with legal and compliance issues relating to loan and deposit forms. The Oklahoma Bankers Association has also announced a new endorsed vendor relationship for the loan and deposit forms system.

How Can My Bank Benefit?

During the development process, a limited number of banks will be able to subscribe to the service as charter members. Charter members will be asked for their input at various points in the development process and may have the software installed at their banks in the Beta testing phase of the project. Charter members will also receive a discount on the standard service fees.

Additional benefits are:

  • Added Value - The service will be securely hosted at BankOnIT eliminating the need for you to buy servers at each location where you want to host the software.
  • Ease of Updates - Because the forms are hosted, regulatory upgrades and other modifications can be made centrally, eliminating the need for updates on individual servers and workstations.
  • Security – Hosting is provided by BankOnIT which has 24/7 on-site staffing, annual SAS70 Type II audits performed, is under FFIEC regulatory oversight and has comprehensive disaster recovery and internal controls to ensure the security and availability of your data.
  • Flexibility – Since the service is securely hosted, you can create forms from anywhere that you can get a broadband Internet connection, allowing your staff to make loans and open accounts virtually anywhere (certain security restrictions apply).
  • Integration – Uploading files to a core system database can be reviewed and may be available with your specific configuration, ask us for details.

How do I Become a Charter Member?

Simple! Just complete these easy steps:

  1. Sign the pre-release software agreement, which will include the NDA and discount provisions.
  2. Provide us contact information for the individual from your bank that you want to provide input on the forms system. We’ll follow up with them about dates and times of events regarding the development process.
  3. Issue a check for 50% of the first year’s annual fee.
  4. Watch for additional information about the service.

Q&A

When will I be able to use the software?

The deposit portion of the service has been created and is available. While the timeline may be modified for unforeseen events, we currently anticipate having the loan forms system ready during the second quarter of 2010.

Will I be able to select and print blank forms?

Yes, the system will allow you to print any form that is available.

Why is the system hosted instead of installed in my bank?

Hosting the system centrally allows us to provide support more efficiently, apply updates quickly to all users and automatically backup the system. All of these items reduce your upfront and ongoing costs while providing you reliable access to your information.

What if I need a custom form?

No problem. You have the ability to upload forms that your bank has created. Additionally, Charles Cheatham, our own staff counsel, can assist your bank with the preparation of forms for your specific needs. Depending upon the request, there may be a charge for the specific document.
